Dinner at Wrenkh

»Wiener Kochsalon Wrenkh« was one of the first (and most renowned) restaurants, that included our »Pod stolpom« on their wine list.

The brothers Leo and Karl Wrenkh want to use the potential of the cultural melting pot Vienna by combining old Austrian traditions with modern international cuisine. This philosophy results in creations such as their hand-stirred veal curry – based on a century-old gulyás recipe from Hungary. The Wrenkhs originate from the Ljubljana area – but we share more than the common Slovene background.

»Wrenkh and Fürst – these two go so well together«, says Karl Wrenkh. »We really appreciate their wines due to their smoothly embedded acidity and minerality. This goes very well with our cuisine.« Karl compares his and Alois Gross' working style. »It is just great to see that the wine is given time to develop.
