The winery CONRAD FÜRST & SÖHNE continues a long-standing winemaking tradition of European stature. It was founded in 1821 by Conrad Fürst in the best vineyards of Slovenian Styria. The wines from our sun-bathed terraces in Jeruzalem express their origins in all aspects.

Since 2007, Gerhart Conrad Fürst and Alois Gross are once again producing distinguished white wines under the brand of CONRAD FÜRST & SÖHNE. For the Fürst family, this restart represents a return to their unique vineyards in Jeruzalem and their city of origin Ptuj, where their company, founded in 1821, was once the region’s largest wine dealer. Today, we continue its long tradition with the blend Pod Stolpom (“Under the Tower”) and the two varieties Šipon • Furmint and Beli • Pinot • Blanc.

Fresh ideas for Styria’s oldest city: the incubator at CONRAD FÜRST & SÖHNE’s office.
The gradual transformation of the Fürst family’s town house into an incubator for young entrepreneurs and artists is a project that has been inseparably linked with our winery. Thus, new incentives for culture, business, and society have been evolving since 2013 in the centre of Ptuj’s old town through studios, workshops, and offices as well as exhibitions, concerts, and trade fairs.
